I received a brand new Fulcrum Racing Speed 80 wheel for a runout and centering check, plus a freewheel body replacement.
The runout was essentially nonexistent, and the centering was spot-on.
I wish all wheels were like this.
What really caught my attention, though, was the rim.
Other than the valve hole, there are no holes.
They've switched from an internal nipple design to a magnetic nipple design.
I wonder if this is more resistant to buckling?
Among the photos I took, there was one where something that looked like an animal—maybe a bird?—seemed to be reflected on the rim (or maybe I was just imagining things?).
