Another day, another wheel (and so on).

A customer brought in a Prime rear wheel.
It's got a 60mm high tubular rim, and apparently they've only used it for 100 minutes in time and 60km in distance.
Huh? Don't be bragging about your high average speed there!
↑petty move where I misread it as a diss and suddenly get mad

It's a Novatec hub for left and right 2-cross, 24H straight spokes.
The usual Prime setup—the final crossing on the freewheel side is laced,
while the non-freewheel side is unlaced.

The freewheel side uses DT Aero Comp spokes,

and the non-freewheel side uses DT Aero Lite,
so it's built with different diameter spokes on each side.
I'm not sure if it was checked before getting here,
but there's no centering issues and the spoke tension was properly tensioned
(not tensioned all the way to max adjustment).

But they want me to rebuild it.
The rear hub I received is a Novatec 482-based hub.
Apart from a metal plate on the freebody to prevent sprocket bite and some color differences,
it's essentially the same as an Evo Lite hub.

There's no assembly marks, so this looks like one of the retail hub units.

And it's built.

Black half-spoke lacing pattern.
I'll do the truing later.
The nipples are DT black Squorx,
and since the wheel hasn't been used much, I reused them.
Also, the customer asked me to weigh the rim for them, so I sai
↑wait, no—

Sorry for the wait! Skipping all the nonsense and getting to it right now.

Please take a look at this image!
↑Stop it right there!
