the reason Japanese distributors had to call it "O-N-Y-X" seems
even stronger.
There's Formula—an Italian disc brake maker and
a Taiwan manufacturer that mainly makes budget-class hubs—
but these two companies have absolutely no connection to each other.
And both produce disc brake hubs, and while
their logos and typefaces differ,
both have "FORMULA" printed on the hub shell.
However, in this case there doesn't seem to be any particular dispute over it.
