Ultra-lightweight Chinese carbon hookless tubeless rim — wheel build

Wheels again today (rest omitted).
There was an article with almost the exact same title a while back,
but the rim source and customer are the same.

It's not just a stock Chinese carbon rim—
it's actually possible to specify requirements for the design.

These are ultra-lightweight hookless rims in the 270g range, but
the previous rim had no holes on the outer circumference except for the valve hole,
with rim sides finished in basalt (a volcanic rock finish),
meaning I'd ordered it with a brake zone.

This rim is for disc brake use, so no brake zone,
and unlike the previous rim, the inner spoke holes are offset,
and I ordered no holes on the outer circumference except the valve hole, same as before—
but they messed up and drilled regular spoke holes on the outer edge anyway.
So rim tape is necessary.

The hub is a Deore BOOST spec FH-M6010-B,
32H black semi-comp with JIS lacing and tied/soldered.

The nipples are purple on one half and blue aluminum on the other.
Shimano's BOOST hubs properly reflect the increase in over-locknut dimension in the flange width, so dishing isn't too bad.
Combined with the offset rim,
the different radii and spoke counts on each side meant the non-drive side could be tensioned really well.
Under these conditions, even though I went semi-comp,
I probably could've gotten away with a simple cross or even a radial lacing.
My usual method is to tension the non-drive side unilaterally from a state of "no radial or lateral runout with the rim offset freewheel-side by more than one rim width"
until the wheel centers—
on most rear wheels it's really helpful to be able to tension the non-drive side,
but on this rear wheel, no matter how much I tightened the non-drive side,
it just wouldn't come to center,
so I actually found myself in the unusual position of thinking "being able to tension the non-drive side is making this job harder."
