Another day of wheel work (and so on).

I received the rear wheel of a Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5 (custom bike wheel) from a customer.

Black half-competition rim with silver nipples.
I did a truing job on this wheel not long ago, but
compared to then, the wobble is unbelievable.
I could immediately tell that truing wouldn't fix it—
I became confident that the rim was seriously bent.
According to the customer, they had a standover crash on the right side, but
it wasn't just an ordinary crash;
I think a lever-like force must have been applied to the rim at that moment.

Mid-rim relocation...

All built up.

I basically never apply this sticker myself, but
on the new rim I put the fresh sticker on the same way.
Actually, the original was applied without degreasing and kind of haphazardly at a slight angle,
with the edges peeling up, so
I went ahead and reapplied it neatly.
As for the old rim, when you set it on the floor,
the side of the rim lifts off the ground across quite a span—
it was seriously warped.
