Another day of wheel building (and so on).

I received a front wheel from a ZIPPO 404 from a customer.

Flange-ring style front hub, 16-hole
CX-RAY straight forced radial lacing.
There may be a recall involved as well,
but the customer wants the wheel rebuilt with a hub replacement.

Got it built.

Shimano WH-RS81 hub, 16-hole, zero-crossing lacing.
I changed the phase of the spoke head holes on the hub
from evenly distributed to varied spacing,
so the spoke path deviates from pure radial lines—
that's why I called it zero-crossing lacing.
Since it's a slightly larger flange than the original hub,
I could have reused the spokes with some cutting,
but given the concern about the low spoke weight ratio
(CX-RAY with only 16 spokes),
we went with CX Sprint spokes instead.
