Another day of wheel building (etc.).
I received a Gran Compe GC-SF hub from a customer.
Gran Compe Small Flange Hub is what it stands for,
but it's rare to see one with 24 holes.
The hub shell has this shape where the center is cylindrical
and then tapers out in straight lines on both sides
Because it resembles a Leaf hub,
that's why I used a Leaf hub on the front wheel I built yesterday.
Like the front wheel, I built the rear wheel
using the Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5 rim.
24 holes, all competition four-cross lacing pattern, and since it's a double-sided fixed gear hub, it's JIS lacing.
I'll do the spoke nipple seating later.
