I built Nomu Lab Wheel No. 1.
The front wheel spokes are CX-RAY and
built radial at the customer's request.
The rear wheel is semi-competition 1.6 Italian hub with lacing on the fixed-gear side—
the usual specs.
By the way, I use a Hozan (ホーザン) aluminum soldering iron stand
with a tip cleaner, and
when you wipe the iron tip on the wet sponge,
the sponge absorbs flux (hydrochloric acid) from the tip.
So when I removed the sponge, it was pretty corroded.
The black spots are pitted with little holes.
Flipped over, there were actual holes right through it.
No wonder the water was leaking.
