Today it's wheels again (and so on).

I'm building the rear wheel with the same rim as the front wheel I built yesterday,
but to show that the dented-looking glossy finish on the rim side is
"not" distortion from spoke tension,
I took a photo of just the rim by itself.

Built the rear wheel.

Revo disc hub, 24H, black half CX sprint
46H JIS lacing with spokes and aluminum black nipples.
Since the rim height is fairly tall (which means shorter spokes = easier to build a stiff wheel)
and it's an offset rim (the non-freehub side doesn't get too loose),
I went with the half CX sprint instead of half comp.
The rim height is a distinctive 46mm,
and while the claimed weight is 370g,
even if that's accurate,
the height-to-weight ratio is excellent—
and these two rims I'm using today were actually lighter than that.
This is a hookless rim, but the same brand apparently makes
non-hookless rims too, and I'm not sure of all the details,
but they might also offer options with or without cosmetic carbon.
Like I mentioned with the front wheel,
if you added one more layer of cosmetic carbon,
I reckon you'd hit the catalog weight.
As for the actual weight though...
there's no way I'm telling you that.
All I'll tell you is that I used the lighter one—by 2 grams—for the rear wheel.
↑Oh man, this guy's being weird about it

Appearing slightlyyyyy off-center, my apologies!

Please take a look at these images over here!
↑Come ooooon, stop it!
