Another day with wheels (etc.).

A customer brought in the front wheel from an Alpinist CLX.
They wanted it rebuilt.


The front hub bearing rotation is feeling gritty.
Since they'll be picking it up themselves after the rebuild
and not having it shipped out,
I can swap the bearing right before handing it over,
so I'll leave it for now.


I'm always going on about how even if you put a "tubeless incompatible" sticker
under an opaque rim tape,
nobody's going to be able to read it anyway!
But if it's in original condition,
DT makes a rim tape that has only the "Løvåal" name written on it,
omitting the tubeless marking,
so you can actually tell the difference.


All laced up.


I used CX Sprint on the side with fewer spokes
and built it with reversed different spoke length lacing.
I'll do the spoke nipple wrench work on the heavier spoke side later.
