Challenge Criterium tubulars

Two Seta Extras—
I found them while moving.
Seta is Italian for silk, which means
the tire's side casing uses silk
instead of cotton.

Made in Thailand, dated September 20, 2010.
The list price back then was ¥16,600 per tire,
but when the standard Criterium was going for ¥8,500,
the current equivalent model—Criterium RS—runs ¥14,300.
If these still existed today,
I'd estimate they'd be worth over ¥30,000 each.
I ended up selling them privately to a customer
who regularly uses tubular tires, but

A scratch from a utility knife wouldn't just be a scream—
it'd be total disaster.
So I made sure to include
a warning note in the box.
