I rebuilt the rear wheel on an Intrepid

Today, wheels again (and so on).

I took in a wheel rebuild job for a brand called Intrepid.

24-hole with Sapim Laser spokes laced 4-cross on both sides.
The reason for the rebuild was "the ride feel seemed kind of dull,"
but since the spoke tension on the freewheel side is already cranked up to the limit,
there's no way to tighten it further.

With this hub, this rim, and these spokes in this lacing pattern,
no matter who builds it—myself included—it should end up with these results.
(Unless you deliberately build it with spoke tension on the freewheel side set below the limit)

The rim is labeled RC24, but it appears to be a Kinlin (Taiwan-made rim brand) XR240.
It's printed rather than a sticker, so it's pretty detailed work.

Rebuilt.
Both before and after the rebuild had red nipples,
but I replaced them with new ones.

4-cross lacing with different spoke types left and right,
using DT Champion on the freewheel side and DT Competition on the non-freewheel side,
different diameter lacing between sides.
The spoke selection was the customer's request.
