Another day at the wheel building station.
I've taken in a PowerTap G3 hub for service.
It's new, but it didn't arrive completely disassembled.
Here's where the half-hearted tape really shows its true colors.
The adhesive was just as unmotivated as the tape.
It's rare to see a magnet pop off on a brand new hub.
Reglued it...
And sealed it with heat shrink tubing.
Using this hub to build a Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5.
Built.
24-hole rear wheel with 4-cross lacing pattern and semi-competition spokes.
Already got the connections wired too.
The front wheel was also requested, so I'm building that at the same time.
This one's a Tni Evo hub with radial lacing (non-drive side).
