Power T (abbreviated)

Another day at the wheel (abbreviated).

I took in the Nomu Lab Wheel #4.
The hub is a PowerTap G3 with 28 holes.

I'm changing the spokes and rebuilding it,
converting from a full-competitive radial lacing to a semi-competitive radial lacing.
This is what the customer requested, but hehe... you finally noticed, huh.
I've handed over other wheels I've built to customers,
and if people look at the various wheels we have at the shop,
I thought some might pick up on what my "wheel philosophy" is all about (note: not necessarily truth),
but apparently not yet.

I fully released the spoke tension first,
then removed only the spokes on the non-drive side.
The drive-side spokes will continue to be used.

The nipples are brass, but this is based on the customer's preference
or rather, I'm just building with the original specifications.
I often use DT nipples, but 2.0mm brass is part number "30-001."
2.0mm aluminum would be "30-008."
They come in boxes with quantities matching the number of spokes—100 or 72 per box—

but 100 nipples only take up a little over half the box.

When you dump them out, it looks like this.
I usually use aluminum nipples,
so I rarely use brass nipples and end up with leftovers.

Help me out, somebody

All built.

If you grab it, you'll feel what's different.
