Today it's wheels again (and so on).

Continuing from yesterday's front wheel.

※

It's a 24H full competition 4-cross JIS lacing,
but unlike the front hub, the dimensional conditions aren't particularly problematic.
It wasn't quite as loose as the front wheel,
but I'm rebuilding this one with a tighter feel too.

Built it up.

Half competition 4-6 JIS lacing with spoke leads.
The customer came to pick up this wheel, so I've already handed it over,
but that "noise from the spokes when braking" I mentioned yesterday
was there from when it was first built, not because spoke tension had sagged from wear and tear or anything like that.
They requested "high rigidity" when ordering,
with the build details left to our judgment,
but what came back was a sloppy wheel that felt like it was dragging from behind (especially on climbs),
contrary to what was intended.

I cleaned the rust off the rotor with a rubber stone.
In terms of the difference before and after, yesterday's was more dramatic,
so I regret forgetting to take photos then.
