A customer brought in a Ksyrium (Mavic wheel set) for me to work on.


The customer got it from a friend, so I'm not sure about the repair history,
but I think the front wheel has been trued before.
There was centering deviation so bad that it wouldn't even be typical for a stock Mavic wheel.
Other than that, it's been kept in excellent condition, with almost no runout.
Or rather, considering the model year,
it might be more accurate to say "it hasn't been ridden much at all."

When someone says they got it from a friend,
sometimes it's a little white lie to cover up the fact they bought it on an online auction,
but this one genuinely was handed down from a friend under certain circumstances.
