A 404 Firecrest Visit

A customer brought in a 404 Not Found for me to work on.

They wanted a full inspection.
There was a very slight centering issue that barely registered on my centerline gauge,
but once I tracked down the lateral runout and made some minor adjustments, it disappeared.
If this were my own bike, I probably wouldn't have touched it at all and just left it as-is.

They mentioned the rear wheel's non-drive side felt a bit loose,
but honestly, the drive side tension is basically maxed out and the center is true,
so given this particular spoke design and structure,
it's actually at maximum tension already.
The front wheel was built incredibly tight—seriously, if I had the same materials, I'm not sure I could get it that taut—
so compared to that, the rear's non-drive side probably just feels slack by contrast.

This is a Zipp hub, and the spoke pattern went through radial on the non-drive side, then radial on the drive side,
before settling on a pretty standard lacing pattern.
I think this approach is better than the previous model. I'm satisfied with how it turned out.
