A customer brought me a Ksyrium Elite (high-end wheelset by Mavic) for service.


The rear rim was shifted toward the anti-freewheel side, and this wasn't from wear — it was like that from the start.
Plus, there was play in the hub. Otherwise, no issues.
Unusually for a complete wheelset, the final spoke crosses were woven
(though structurally only on the rear anti-freewheel side),
and I suspect that's because of the silver spokes, which produce less noise.
In fact, when the same model that came after this switched to black spokes,
they stopped weaving the final spoke crosses.
