Speed 40C

I received a Fulcrum Speed 40C from a customer.

Campagnolo's Bora comes in 35mm and 50mm high rim depths,
but Fulcrum's unique lineup with the Speed model adds 5mm to the rim height (40mm and 55mm).

Both Speed and the current Bora have wide rims,
but the Racing Speed, which is "Fulcrum's Bora,"
kept the narrow rim and didn't get a model change.
The flagship model is shifting to Speed, but
the spirit is to keep it in the catalog while stock remains.

C stands for clincher, T for tubular, and they come in 40C, 40T, and 55T configurations.
With the T version using CULT bearing specs, the price goes up quite a bit,
so the 40C with USB bearings offers good value.
The customer said they bought it through overseas online shopping, which gave me a price reference.
The reason is that I'm not sure if I'll announce it here,
but following Racing Quattro Carbon and Racing Zero Carbon,
as the third installment of the Fulcrum Carbon WO festival,
I have about seven pairs of toriawase (→here) on backorder.
(Bright label 4 pairs, dark label 3 pairs, all with Shimano freehub, I believe)

Inspection showed no centering issues and just slight runout,
but it wasn't the kind of runout you'd notice with brake feel.
