Nomu Lab Diary

What a Thoroughly Dishonest Guy

The other day I wrote about the crappy work and shady dealings at Shinoyama Bicycle Workshop Highlander,
and apparently the guy himself is going around saying it's "completely false" or some nonsense like that.
Save your lies for when you're asleep.

So what you're saying is that all the people who got burned by you
are lying to me, is that it?
Don't you think that's pretty disrespectful to the customers who got screwed over?

Everything I wrote in that post was limited to things with solid sources—like "this specific incident happened to XX"
(I only named FJT)—not vague hearsay or rumors. And if I included those, there'd be even more.

Even after I wrote that post, we've had bikes come through the shop where the derailleur adjustment was never fixed no matter how long it sat there,
and the customer got overcharged multiple times. I won't say "who" or "what" because it'd give away their identity.

Since I figure you'll read this eventually, let me spell it out:
・Making parts swaps on your own authority without asking the customer first
・Charging labor fees twice or more for a single job
・Labor charges way out of line with the actual work done
Your work really stands out for this stuff!

Something I didn't mention last time.
You accidentally scratched a frame, you knew it,
but you just packed it up and shipped it to the customer anyway,
and when the customer contacted you about the scratch
you said "That wasn't there before we shipped it, it must have been a shipping accident,"
and got the shipping company's insurance to pay out tens of thousands of yen.
I'd like you to explain that one.

Normally if you pull something like that, you take it to the grave with you, but instead
you went around telling several of your buddies about it like it was some kind of heroic war story,
which is how it ended up reaching my ears.
Apparently you were even saying you could pull off that trick again.

I've heard about this from multiple people who heard it straight from your mouth,
but maybe you'll try to claim this is "completely false" too.

If you're going to say it's false, then explain to me
why you yourself bragged about this fake "war story" (lol)
of "I tried insurance fraud on the shipping company and it worked."
