I understand—it's a Cougar

Haha, yeah.

Never mind the title and opening—it's just a running joke with this customer.

I took in an Easton EA90SL from a customer.
In the previous generation, the RT was a tubeless rim and the SL was a WO rim, but this one's an SL with a tubeless rim.

The centering's perfect, and there was some lateral wobble, but I think that came from the customer riding it out—it wasn't there when it left Easton.
As for spoke tension, apart from what's needed for final truing, you can't tighten it any further.

What's changed in the specs is that instead of 3.2mm flats, they're using 3.4mm square nipples.
I guess they're really pursuing durability against nipple stripping.

There's a hissing sound coming from the front tire—like it's got a puncture.

I dripped water from a syringe on it, and sure enough—it's definitely a puncture.
Sealant might fix it, but regardless of the outcome, I didn't want to coat the inside of the rim (which has no sealant history) in that goopy, semi-solid gunk.
So I left it as-is. Sorry to ask, but could you either swap the tire or inject sealant? Also, I forgot that you can apply a patch from the inside—my bad.
