I Bulk Bought Challenge Valve Extenders (Article for Fellow Shop Owners)

Challenge, a brand that specializes in cyclocross and gravel tires,
has valve extenders that are cheap—
I realized this the other day, so I bulk bought them.

Two valve extenders plus removal tool included, at an MSRP of 860 yen (before tax)—incredibly cheap.
Then a cunning thought crossed my mind: if I sold these at a deep discount as a customer draw...
Since creating missed opportunities for other shops is important to my strategy,
I went ahead with the bulk purchase, but when I look closer—

They're made of brass.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
When I held the whole bag, it was obviously stupid heavy!
ahhhhhhh

Let me weigh the brass ones against aluminum valve extenders of the same length.

The weight ratio is basically the same as aluminum vs. brass nipples!
ahhhhh

Who makes valve extenders out of brass in this day and age?
And the product description doesn't mention the material at all—I'm furious!

For wheel balancing, you typically add weight near the opposite side of the valve,
so these extenders would be massively counterproductive—
meaning you can't even pitch them from that angle ahahhhh
Nobody's gonna buy this junk even at a discount!

By the way, I just checked and the distributor's stock has come back in.
If any fellow shop owners are reading this crappy blog,
please don't make the same mistake I did. Be warned.

Even though I'm writing this, I actually have a way to move these,
so I'm not worried on that front. I just won't be reordering anymore.
I am, however, worried the distributor will be mad at me for writing this.
