Built a Mysterious Ultra-Light Carbon Rim

There's a previous article with the same title (→here),
and an acquaintance of that wheel's owner brought in a "similar" rim
and asked me to build a wheel.

However, whereas the measured weight of the rims in the linked article were 243g and 232g,
both of these rims are around 250g.
In the linked article, with a semi-complete rear wheel, both wheels together came in under 1000g,
but it's impossible with the rims that were brought in, which they'd researched beforehand,
They want the rear wheel to be built entirely with CX-RAY spokes
and are determined to finish it in the 900g range no matter what.
The linked article mentions something similar,
but we discussed which is better reflected in race results—a wheel that's simply light, or one built with careful consideration of major and minor elements—
anyway, this time we're building it entirely with CX-RAY.

Rear wheel is done too.

The reinforcement adds barely 2g.

570g.
Both wheels together weigh 991g,
but with a semi-complete build the estimated weight increase would be plus 15.5g,
so without all CX-RAY it wouldn't have reached the 900g range.
