A customer brought in a Racing Zero Carbon rear wheel for repairs.

Just like the previous article,

they ran over something like a nail, and there's a hole on the outer edge of the rim.
It hasn't penetrated all the way through to the inner edge.

The hole location is actually good (←is it though?),
but I'm concerned about a slight scratch on the bead hook.
The inside of the hook where the tire bead sits was undamaged.

I filled the hole and crack with a high-strength adhesive.
As long as we prevent microcrack propagation,
I determined the rim can continue to be used without replacement.
After the adhesive hardens, it should be fine without rim tape,
but I went ahead and applied a tape-style rim tape over it as a precaution.
It's a similar case to the Shamal Ultra from the previous article,
and while this type of damage isn't entirely new to me,
this is the third case since Nomu Lab opened.
The first was a 7900 C24 front wheel,
where the nail had penetrated all the way through to the inside (not documented in a post).
The second and third cases are the Shamal Ultra and Racing Carbon,
and while they came in on different days, they were brought in just one day apart.
