Built a wheel with XYZ rims

Today it's wheels again (and so on).

I built a wheel with XYZ rims.
The rim I built before (→here)
was 30mm deep, but this time the rim is 45mm deep.

Like the previous XYZ rim, this rim is also
a tubeless rim with no holes in the outer circumference except for the valve hole.

Since the rim's serial number starts with XYZ...,
they're not just putting their own "brand" name on rims sourced from OEM manufacturers—
they're an actual manufacturer producing these themselves.
There are cases where OEM manufacturers are instructed to use serial number formats unique to the brand,
but while you see this on frames, it's almost never done on rims.
I'll write about one example of that in the next post.
