Another day, another wheel (and so on).

Finally got the spokes in
(some of them are for restocking the shop),

so I can now replace the rim on the Racing 1 Prototype (→here).

The original Racing 1 uses brass nipples with a 5.5mm wrench width,
while Racing Zero uses aluminum nipples with a 6mm width.
But this prototype is oddly built with 5mm brass nipples,
and while 5.5mm and 6mm nipples share the same spoke thread pitch,
these 5mm nipples have their own unique thread pitch (a size that doesn't exist in commercial products),
so spoke replacement was necessary for this wheel.

Disassembled it.
Since both sides have hook-type spokes, you can loosen the tension somewhat,
unhook the spokes, and remove just the hub.
On Fulcrum's commercial versions, the spoke head seating area doesn't have
black anodizing, but now I understand why.
This hub has tight dimensional tolerances between the flange machining and spoke head,
making spoke installation more difficult than the commercial version.
Especially setting the outer spokes was
extremely challenging.

Built it up.
In the end, I replaced everything except the hub.

The rim is the WO rim from the original Racing 1,
a rim from before Racing Zero existed,
the only aluminum spoke model,
so it's a "unique specification rim" that doesn't share with Racing Zero, which is why
the rim sticker was on it from the factory
(as a counterexample, since Eurus rims after the aluminum nipple era
share the same rim as Shamal Ultra,
they have a spec where you have to request individual stickers be applied to a non-stickered rim).
So the rim holes are sized for brass nipples,
but I machined them for aluminum nipples.
I wrote the details in that link above.
