A customer brought in a front wheel from a Shamal Ultra (high-end road wheel) for repair.

It got caught in a pothole

and one spoke broke as a result.
The rim is a WO (Welted Offset) type, so I carefully inspected the bead hook area.
The rim itself was fine, so it looks like spoke replacement and truing should fix it.

All fixed.

↑ Replaced spokes

Of course the broken spoke needed replacement, but
based on the rotation direction, the adjacent spoke also showed deformation at the same point, so I replaced that one too.
If we think of the broken spoke as the first impact and the bent spoke as the second impact,
spokes 3-5 had some scratches from the impact but
hadn't deformed yet, so I left those alone.
