Built a disc brake front wheel with CX22 rim

Wednesday is normally our day off, but a customer who can only be in Osaka until today came by, so I opened the shop.
Since I opened up, there's no way I'm leaving without doing some wheel building (you know how it is).

So anyway, more wheel building today.

Built a front wheel for disc brakes
using a Tni CX22 tubular rim.

That tube monster is unrelated to the wheel.
Don't worry about it.

Gold aluminum nipples.
I'll do the truing later.

This CX22 rim in 24H was one of Tni's out-of-stock aluminum rims that arrived right around the planned December end delivery date.
I built a wheel with a 28H rim back in mid-November (→here),
but that one was also originally supposed to be built with a 24H rim.
However, since this wheel was for cyclocross, several races would pass by
while waiting for the rim, so
I switched to the 28H that was in stock.

This wheel was supposed to be built with a Tni Revo disc hub,
and since the Revo disc hub only comes in 24H, I waited for the 24H rim to arrive.
Also, this one is for disc road use, not cyclocross.
Even though it's a disc brake wheel, I'm building it with a rim that has a brake zone
because tubular rims with full-width anodizing that are truly wide
are almost non-existent.
Maybe just Velocity's Major Tom (→here).
Major Tom does come with a machined brake zone finish option, but
there's also the NONmsw (Non Machined Side Wall) spec
which has no brake zone milling.
