Built a front wheel using a super-lightweight 29-inch MTB rim from the Duke brand.

Apparently it's commonly used by MTB teams in France.
The model name is Lucky Jack SLS Ultra Carbon.

According to the sticker on the rim, it's 265g ±15g.
But the base weight is so light that a 30g variance between the upper and lower limits is pretty substantial.
From other sources I found the stated weight listed as 275g.
Separately, there's also a model called Lucky Jack SLS 26TER with rim width about 1mm wider.
That one is rated at 307g ±10g.
The "6TER" designation means it's designed specifically as a rear rim for this brand—
prioritizing strength over weight,
though it's still remarkably light.

Tune BOOST hub, 28 holes

Laced half-CX sprint 64-cross reverse Italian.
I'll do the nipple twist-ups later.

Hookless rim with a flange height comparable to or even lower than Stans.
Probably shouldn't wrap tubeless tape around it twice.

The inside of the flange appears to have a slight taper, getting subtly wider toward the outer edge.
Honestly it's a bit scary wondering if the tire will actually stay put,
but since the rim's max pressure rating is only 2.5 bar,
28C tires (which could technically fit width-wise) aren't usable pressure-wise.
As long as you run it with 50C (≈2 inch) width or wider MTB tires, there shouldn't be any issues.
