Another day with wheels (and so on).

I received a wheel rebuild job on a XERO ENGAGE carbon wheel.
The rear wheel was already disassembled.
Since this is quite an old wheel, it naturally doesn't support Shimano 11-speed.
That's probably why it needed the Shimano 11-speed conversion and rebuild (probably).

It's a low-profile carbon rim, but it has the buckling strength for everyday use.

All rebuilt.

Full competition spokes.
It's really got that everyday carbon wheel feel.
Go hard on it.

I also did the lacing, but the spoke wrapping technique differs slightly between aero spokes and round spokes.
I've been doing CX-RAY lacing lately, so it's been a while since I've done competition lacing.
Since I didn't see the original rear wheel, I don't know the spoke tension on the freehub side before the rebuild (which is crucial).
I think the overall tautness probably improved, but...
