Wheel work again (and so on).

Following the rear wheel, I ended up rebuilding the front wheel on the CLX50 as well.

All-black Aerolite straight 2:1 radial lacing
equivalent to a 0-4 spoke count.

The front hub requires spoke head peening work
on both sides.

CeramicSpeed ceramic bearings were installed,
but the standard retail versions have blue rubber seals,
so these black seals suggest this is the spec
that came stock on the Loveral.
The rear hub was fine,
but the front hub—at least one, possibly both—is shot.
With no end cap sealing O-rings or similar,
the last line of defense is just the bearing's non-contact seal,
and while CeramicSpeed bearings are relatively strong,
the ones in Loveral hubs (especially the front hub)
often show signs of wear.
(Or more accurately, on models with reasonable mileage,
they're nearly 100% shot—
much like the Enduro Zero Ceramic bearings in Easton R4SL rear hubs).
Frankly, they need replacement, but I'll check with the customer about that.

Wheel is built.

I'm using black CX Sprint straight spokes on the lower spoke count side.
I got approval to lace the tangent side on both wheels,
so I'll do the lacing later.

↑A ritual showing that today's wheel work (and so on)
meets the required conditions
