ZIPP340 rim (an old Japanese distributor-exclusive model).
It makes a rattling noise when you shake it.
That's neither here nor there, but when I return it
I'm thinking I'll draw some red rays extending from the rising sun mark.


What the heck is this? Why is there metal swarf inside?
I wonder if metal chips got stuck in the drill flute
when the rim holes were being drilled.
