Another day with wheels (and so on).

Rebuilding the rear wheel on the Roval CL50.

24H 2:1 lacing all-black Competizione Laced straight.
Where the CLX's freebody is orange anodized,
the CL has black anodizing.
The bearing specs and such might be different too.

↑This is the CLX hub shell, and

↑This is the CL hub shell.
Both have that "Intel Inside" style
marking saying "DT Swiss" on them,
but the CLX one goes the extra mile and adds "CLX" written on top.

On the CLX rear hub, the flange on the non-drive side is
shaped so it doesn't necessarily need dimpled spoke heads,
yet dimpled spoke heads were being used anyway.
The image above is from after a rebuild the other day,
so I'm using spokes without dimples.

On the CL's rear hub, the non-drive side flange is
shaped for dimpled spokes.
Even though these are round-section spokes, it's not to prevent spoke slipping—
it's simply because this is a later model.

Done building it up.

The high spoke count side uses black CX-RAY Laced straight,

and the low spoke count side uses black CX Sprint Laced straight.
I'll true it later.
By the way, I've been rebuilding the front and rear wheels
on both the Roval CLX50 and CL50 these past couple days,
and I looked into whether the rims are really the same like the manufacturer says.
...I looked into it, but I'm not telling.
↑Oof, that's pretty cheeky of me

Sorry for the wait! Please take a look at these images!

↑Oh come on, stop that!
