Another day with wheels (and so on).
I can't go into the details because it wouldn't be in the customer's interest, but
I disassembled the front wheel of a Racing Zero (レーシングゼロ) that had a damaged rim.
The image above shows everything "except the rim."
The reason there are only 13 spokes in the image is
because there were 3 spokes that were no good.
I'm reusing these 13 spokes. While I'm at it, I should mention
I've never done a complete spoke replacement when swapping out a rim.
It looks like something stylish got stolen, but that's not my doing on the original wheel.
It's built.
The original rim was a C17 rim, but at the customer's request I went with a C15 rim instead.
The rim comes supplied without decals, so I apply them myself,
but they don't match the rim's original era.
We discussed this with the customer and decided on it together.
