Another wheel day (and so on).
A customer dropped off a rear wheel built with a WTB Crisscross rim.
It's one I built in the past.
It's hard to see in the image, but the brake zone has worn down unevenly in a circular pattern.
There were also areas where the bead hook had deformed.
I forgot to mention this earlier, but this wheel had been used for cyclocross.
FH-5800, 32H full competition cross pattern with lacing nipples.
Since the non-drive side doesn't have a small flange,
there's almost no spoke head interference even with a 32H cross pattern, but
next time I'll build it with a four-cross pattern.
I've built the wheel with the CX22 rim.
