Another wheel day (and so on).

A customer left a 20-inch WO (Wired-On) rim with me.
20-inch is a size designation where both WO (Wired-On) rims and HE (Hooked Edge) rims are common,
but in the case of a WO rim it's ETRTO 451mm, and for an HE rim it's ETRTO 406mm—
the compatible tire dimensions differ between them.

The rim depth is 40mm, and if we scale that proportion of rim depth to rim diameter
up to a 700C rim (ETRTO 622mm),
it would work out to roughly 55mm deep.
It's painted to look like a carbon rim, done quite nicely too, but

it's actually aluminum.

It's heavy.
But that's not "heavy because it's an aluminum rim"—
this is just "a heavy one, as aluminum rims go."

Built.
Even with this angle shot, you can see the hub body,
but if shot dead-on from the side with nothing around it for scale reference,
you'd barely be able to tell it apart from a 55mm-deep 700C rim
(though the spoke diameter scaling would stay off,
so it might still be distinguishable there).
