Rovaal somehow keeps showing up

Stop taking commemorative photos

There's plenty more where that came from.
Anyway, today a customer came in who was using a wheel I'd built years ago with an ENVE rim,
and they'd bought a disc brake road bike complete bike (from which brand, I wonder *wink*)
but the CLX50 wheel that came with it felt sluggish, wouldn't roll well,
and just didn't feel snappy, so
I first suspected that the wheel they brought in
might just be a particularly dull individual sample,
but when I examined it, it was in pretty typical condition for an off-the-shelf CLX50.
So we decided to rebuild it, but
given the current state of the shop, that won't be possible for another month and a half,
and since this is the customer's first disc brake road bike with no spare wheels on hand,
if I held onto the wheel they wouldn't be able to ride during that time, so
I told them to bring it back in about a month and a half and I'd get right on it,
so they took it home with them today.
Like this, there are actually a lot of jobs
that I'm putting off without keeping them in the shop.
If I didn't postpone them, I'd be cutting in front of other people's work,
so it can't be helped.
