A customer dropped off a pair of Dura-Ace tubeless wheels with me.
Brand new, apparently never touched since purchase.
I checked both front and rear wheels, and the centering was spot on with barely any runout.
The front wheel especially — I just stuck it on the truing stand, gave it a spin with a "whoosh," and that was it.
Getting this kind of precision right out of the box happens maybe once in every ten wheels, so having two in a row like this... well, it's not like I'm hitting some crazy 1% jackpot.
More likely, the shop that sold these wheels just does solid work.
I didn't ask the customer where they bought them from — whether it was a local shop or online — so I can't say for sure either way.
