First Generation R-SYS

I've taken in a first generation R-SYS from a customer.

To be precise, the front wheel is a recall replacement unit.

The front hub has the current generation Tracomp ring
installed with the anti-freespin notches that are on current models.

The customer thought the spokes on the freewheel side of the rear wheel looked bent,

and it wasn't just their imagination.

The rear hub has the older generation Tracomp ring.

When freespin (sideways slipping) occurs,
the contact marks between the spoke head and ring stretch out horizontally.
This wheel hadn't experienced that, but the spoke tension was so loose
it easily could have, so I re-tensioned them properly.
The front wheel was already tensioned adequately, so I only did
minor truing work without intentionally increasing tension.

It's possible to some degree even with the new Tracomp ring,
but with the older generation Tracomp ring, you can shift the contact point
and press it in differently. In reality, freespin only happens when bikes are
either neglected for a long time or you get a really bad unit off the rack,
so in my opinion, all the caution built into the new Tracomp ring is just
annoying overkill.

I've worked in some heavy grease between the contact surfaces.

As a separate matter, I'm also working on another first generation R-SYS,
but that one has some deeper issues, so it'll take a bit longer.
