I used the Stretcher Y (here) and (here) after a long time.
↑This is a Competition 19, but
among Continental's tubular tires,
the 19C width ones have an inner diameter that's clearly too small (the 22C and 25C aren't like that).
Even with 19C, when mounting with tubular tape,
it's okay to touch the tire's bead area (with rim cement it gets messy on your hands)
so the method changes slightly and in most cases you can mount it without stretching.
This time I'm mounting with rim cement, so I planned to stretch it over one night...
but I got busy and left it for about three days instead.
It stretched to a nice degree,
but it's still quite tight compared to Vittoria and others.
