Built a front wheel with a 25mm high-modulus carbon tubular rim

I built a front wheel with a lightweight rim that a customer entrusted to me.

Leaf hub 20H, black CX-RAY outpoke radial lacing.

This rim has a unidirectional carbon outer layer,
no brake zone processing,
and the rim sides curve in a smooth arc,
making it somewhat of a wide rim too.
It's kind of like a slightly narrower version of a Smarte Envie.

The packaging of this rim (in the back of the image) and what was written on it
were the same as the rim I built yesterday (in the front of the image),
so I mistakenly thought they were the same rim until I built this one today.

That's why I was planning to write today about something annoying I remembered from yesterday's rim.

↑This is the same rim as the wheel I built yesterday.
The only difference is that the sections other than the brake zone
are glossy on yesterday's rim, but matte on this one.
The unique processing around the valve hole when viewed from the outer perimeter confirms there's no mistake.
And what I wanted to write about was

The blue brake shoes for carbon from the Lifeline brand
are very aggressive, so they're picky about which rims they work with.
On the rim in the image above, heat damage has caused protrusions to appear all over,
making the brakes completely unusable.
These brake shoes are extremely cheap,
but saving a few pennies only to destroy an expensive wheel makes no sense.

On Wiggle, a set of four (enough for one bike) was around 599 yen, I think,
but they've discontinued carrying them. I wonder why
