I received a Shamal Ultra 2WAY-FIT wheel from a customer.

I can't quite write about the history here, but
it's covered in sticky grime that looks like cigarette tar.

The plating on the nipples is peeling off,
but as long as they're not seized and turn freely, it's fine.

I gave it a thorough cleaning.
The Eurus in the back is a separate job—it came with a frame assembly request,
but I need to lecture about this.
If you used to work in the industry, please bring things in better condition.
It was filthy, had rim wobble, and the hub wasn't centered.
The brake arch and front and rear derailleurs were so dirty I removed them for cleaning.
Bringing something in half-assembled is frankly just double work.
The PF30 bottom bracket that came with the frame appears to have had its bearings pressed in,
so it was already grinding out of the box.
On top of that, for the Wheels Manufacturing adapter, a PF30 version should have been used,
but a BB30 version was installed instead. When I mounted the crankset,
the rotation was abnormally heavy and I couldn't even turn it by hand—that's why.

The nipples turned smoothly, but
before that, the wheel was almost perfectly centered with barely any wobble.
Per the customer's request, I swapped it for a Shimano freebody.
Lately I'm going through one of these a day.
If they were apples, I'd never need a doctor.
