The drill is screaming!

A customer asked me if I could lower the bottle cage position on the seat tube of a 44-size Cannondale Super Six.
Looking at the photo above, the bottle cage was definitely mounted at an awkwardly high position.
They had a Specialized side-entry cage installed, but this cage type isn't designed with threaded holes that would allow it to sit lower.
However, the customer prefers this side-entry style over a top-entry cage that could mount slightly lower, because it's easier to remove the bottle.

They had the cage installed at its lowest possible position.

I added extra bottle cage mounting holes.
Adding a third hole to the seat tube is pretty unusual.
Previously, they had been fixing the top hole of the cage with the lower hole on the seat tube, and securing the bottom with two cable ties.
I can still see the marks from that setup on the frame.

It dropped quite a bit.
Now I've mounted it with the cage fixed slightly below the upper limit of its adjustment range.

If I fixed it at the absolute lowest position, the bottle's edge would contact the down tube.
The customer had also tried using an adapter to adjust the cage position up and down, but the original position was too high to make much difference anyway.
