I Rebuilt Lightning's Alpine (Part 2)

Another day with wheels (and so on).

Sapim CX-RAY spokes came in stock.
Though there are some lengths temporarily out of stock.
It wasn't a problem for the wheel I'm building now.

Before the rebuild.

The reason for the rebuild wasn't because the narrow flanges give it low lateral stiffness
(though that's true).
The reason was that the hub bearings were shot.
Ameracan and other Chainwheel-housed hubs often have
a shorter lifespan than the rim itself.

Strangely, the spoke holes on this rim go
not "right-left-right-left..." but "right-right-left...".
I thought maybe this was a rim with a 2:1 spoke ratio between
the freewheel and non-freewheel sides, but since the inner holes (nipple holes)
are all at the rim's apex,
that doesn't seem to be the case.
Before the rebuild, it also had equal spoke counts on both sides with alternating holes.

I've rebuilt it.
Since there's associated bike assembly work beyond just wheel building,
I'm actually in quite a hurry.
