I received a front wheel from a customer — a Mechanico 25mm high carbon tubular rim.



16H black CX-RAY with washers under the spoke nipples, built radial lacing.
Since the hub lost one of the end parts,
the customer wanted the hub replaced and the wheel rebuilt.

While the customer's preference was to reuse the spokes, it wasn't a strong demand,
but I wanted to avoid building a 16H front wheel with CX-RAY anyway,
and besides, with CX Sprint as an option available now,
there's no reason to use CX-RAY.

I had planned to use an Evo Hub.
The Evo Hub is discontinued, and the Evo Lite Hub is also discontinued in 16H and 18H,
but we have both in stock in 18H at our shop.
We were the last to buy the final piece of each from our supplier.
Strictly speaking, we kept buying until there was only one left.

According to what the customer told me, they initially thought this wheel was 18H,
so I had planned to use an Evo Hub,
but since it turned out to be 16H, I went with the Wing Hub instead.
