I didn't order a Kinlin XR-200 28H rim this time myself,
but the customer brought one in and provided it, so I was able to build it.
Semi-comp 4x cross Italian lacing with soldered joints.
Hand-built wheels—has the era come where customers don't just say "build it for me"
but place these kinds of detailed, fussy orders?
Looking at the spoke joints before soldering tells me how I'm feeling today.
Only I would know it, though.
Today's one of the better ones.
