Built a rear wheel with Tni's 38mm high carbon rim

It's wheels again today (and so on).

I built a rear wheel with Tni's 38mm high carbon rim.
It's the same rim as the one on Nomu Lab Wheel #2.

FH-6700 24H semi-comp four-cross lacing.
I'll do the spoke wrapping later.

This hub looks identical to the 6600-series hub except for the logo.
Both hub series have 24H options,
but with the 6800-series it became only 32H and 36H.
For some reason Shimano stubbornly refuses to make a front 20H hub
(except for the WH-R500-series hubs), and even with the 6800-series and R8000-series
if they'd just offered 24H front and rear hubs,
I would have adopted them in Nomu Lab wheels.

Also, offering a 36H with the RS770 hub but not 24H is really nonsensical—
it makes me question the product manager's judgment

This hub was provided by a customer,
and there were no spoke marks on the flanges.
When you thread spokes through, even with just provisional tension
marks from the spoke shoulders digging in will remain.

However, there were regular scratches on the outer flange.
Since it doesn't affect performance, I'll let it slide.

The rim is from the 19.1mm width era
with no reinforcement at the valve hole, and

based on the serial number pattern, it's from 2013.
This rim is lighter than the current model of the same height.

This one is for a separate project with valve hole reinforcement,

and it's from 2018, with a rim width of 20.5mm.
The 50mm high rim of the same finish has been 20.5mm wide for a long time,
and the width was adjusted to match it in a spec change.
Since valve hole reinforcement happened before that,
rims with "19.1mm width with valve hole reinforcement" do exist,
albeit for a brief period.

I should explain whether valve hole reinforcement actually matters.
If rim cement bonding is weak, or more importantly if the grade is too steep
(something like the Osaka side of Kuromatoe Pass—no amount of tension will help),
and brake heat from downhill melts the cement,
the tire rotates relative to the rim and the valve becomes angled.
If it's minor, there's no issue, but if it gets severe,
the rim sidewall at the valve hole can sometimes bulge outward.
Even with reinforcement, damage is possible, but
I believe there's a zone where "without reinforcement it fails but with reinforcement it holds,"
so it does have meaning.
