The other day, the new Schwalbe CX tubeless ready tires from IRC
that were listed as "in production" from mid-December,
I think I wrote something like
"production doesn't mean immediate supply, it'll probably come next year anyway,
or worst case they'll release it after February when the season is basically over,
which would mean it's effectively a next-season debut!"
(though I'm not sure if I actually wrote the second half),

but they've arrived.
IRC, I apologize for doubting you!
This is stock I sourced at the fastest speed from a distributor
that I can grab from like picking up a cup at a water station
during my bike commute.
More should be arriving tomorrow.
The old Schwalbe CX tubeless listed weight was
non-X-Guard at 380g regardless of tread pattern,
X-Guard at 435g regardless of tread pattern,
a difference of 55g.
With the new Schwalbe CX tubeless ready,
non-X-Guard is 345g regardless of tread pattern,
X-Guard is 405g regardless of tread pattern,
a difference of 60g.
The old tubeless can theoretically run without sealant
depending on rim-side conditions,
but most people used sealant,
so when switching from old TL to new TLR
most people should experience weight savings
equal to the tire weight difference.
The tire sidewall is noticeably thinner and more supple,
but for those worried about sidewall cuts,
there might be an option to use the new TLR X-Guard
rather than the old TL non-X-Guard.

↑Regular

↑Edge
Unlike the old TL with its wrapped packaging,
these come in boxes, so I was able to measure actual weight.
Since there's only individual unit-level variation between Regular and Edge,
I'd say they're basically the same weight.
