I took in a Fast Forward F6R for some work.

The customer brought it in asking for wheel truing and centering work.
I often write scary things on this blog like "pre-built wheels frequently have runout and centering issues,"
and because of that I get a lot of these jobs — but honestly, it's really common so I can't help it.
Though if it came from a proper "shop," they'd check all that before shipping, so there wouldn't be a problem.
Anyway, this wheel had only very minor runout and was otherwise fine,
and the centering was actually spot-on.
It almost felt like someone had already done truing and centering work on it before bringing it in.
I actually got more out of hearing about the customer's job (a delicate and specialized technical trade)
than from the actual wheelwork itself. Man, that was interesting.
