Another wheel day (details omitted).

I took in an ENVE 1-45 rim wheel rebuild.
The hubs are American Classic front and rear,
but the customer wants to swap the hubs to Tni,
change the spokes from black CX-RAY to silver CX-RAY on the front wheel and silver semi-comp on the rear wheel,

switch from reverse radial lacing to radial lacing,

and change from 4-0 lacing to 4-6 lacing plus reverse free-side bracing.

Here we go!

The customer asked me to stretch out a Continental Competition 19 tire with a stretcher Y-double,
so I'm stretching it.
The Competition 22 can be installed right out of the box
(though the inner diameter is on the small side),
but the 19 is impossible. The inner diameter is just too small.

As for the band that connects the rims, I've tried various thick rubber sheets and other materials,
but I've concluded that genuine leather is the best.
The one I just added so I can stretch two tires at once—I went with brown on this one.
It's a pointless preference on my part.
